Analysis of "2-Phenoxyethanol" Active Ingredient in Type 1 Disinfectants

"2-Phenoxyethanol" is a chemical preservative and antimicrobial agent used in cosmetics and disinfectants. It is used in vaccines, cosmetics and disinfectants.

It is slightly soluble in water, but very well soluble in ethanol. Since it is an antibacterial and antifungal substance, it is also used as an antiseptic in surgical operations.

Due to its good tolerability, it can be used together with "benzalkonium chloride" in emulsions and disinfectants.

Thanks to its ability to be used in a wider pH range, it is more preferred than other preservatives.
