In the first quarter of 2018, the Ministry of Health carried out market surveillance and control activities of cosmetic products.

In the first quarter, 186 cosmetic products were inspected. 109 of these cosmetic products were not found to comply with the technical regulations. In addition, 24 unsafe products were identified. A total fine of 923,789 TL was imposed on all unsuitable products.

In addition, cosmetic products can cause many health problems from very serious infections to allergies if they are unsafe.

Only notification by the cosmetic companies to the Ministry of Health is sufficient. If the cosmetics company does not carry out analyzes on the products it provides to the market in certain periods, it will face such inconvenient situations and loaded fines will be inevitable.

It is important for cosmetic companies to have their analyzes done in order to submit a file to the Ministry of Health and to perform their checks at regular intervals. Cosmetic companies that perform their inspections and have their analyzes done in certain periods will not be exposed to such negative conditions.
