The limits of baby cosmetics are different from other cosmetics. Therefore, both the production conditions should be more sensitive and the products should have a lower microbial load.
The microbiological limit value (products for children under the age of 3) for baby cosmetics is 100 cfu / g for the total number of live aerobic mesophilic microorganisms (bacteria, mold, yeast total).
However, the limit value of cosmetic products produced for adults is 1000 cfu / g.
Therefore, a normal wet wipe should not be used for babies. In particular, when using products such as wet wipes for children under 3 years of age, it should be noted that it is indicated on the label that it is produced for babies.
