Microbiological Analysis of Equipment, Personnel and Air
The microbiological analysis of the hands of the personnel, the equipment or the ambient air used in the production process is as important as the analysis of the product.
For example, while sterile disposable medical products are used in personnel hand microbiology, aerobic mesophilic and total coliform bacteria parameters are sufficient, while personnel working in the food industry are looking for Staphylococcus aureus bacteria as it causes food poisoning.
